ASAC GREEN GAS is not simply an upgrade from biogas to biomethane, but a complete and innovative anaerobic fermentation process, in which organic matrices are better digested, produce more, and residues are minimized compared to traditional plants.
Our patent can therefore also be applied to traditional biogas plants for simple electricity production or cogeneration.
ASAC technology offers the enormous advantage of pre-treating biomass using a special patented thermochemical hydrolysis process and simultaneously stripping ammonia, making it possible to use even difficult biomass such as chicken manure while producing a digestate that can be discharged into the sewer system without the need for spreading.
In this case, theCO2 capture section can be reduced to obtain biogas with 80% methane, completely free ofH2S, for optimal operation of the cogenerator with greater reliability, durability, and minimal maintenance.
The patented ASAC hydrolysis process also allows for much easier digestion of organic matter, requiring very short anaerobic retention times and therefore very small digesters, resulting in significant savings in terms of costs and space.
