With ASAC Green Gas technology, you can convert and upgrade your biogas plant in a simple and highly effective way. It solubilizes organic substances before they enter anaerobic digestion, making even the portion of organic matter that is difficult to digest available to bacteria.

Ammonia stripping

Possibility to adjust the stripping level(in the patented ASAC system, the ammonia stripping level can be adjusted easily and automatically, allowing you to choose the amount of nitrogen to be retained in the digesters and therefore in the output digestate, optimizing any composting systems located downstream of the process).
CO₂ sequestration
ASAC technology completely sequesters theCO2 present in biogas, converting it into bicarbonate. There are therefore noCO2 emissions into the atmosphere, and GHG calculations always show optimal values, even with input biomass derived from dedicated crops.
Upgrading with the same digesters
The special alkaline hydrolysis phase patented by ASAC greatly facilitates the anaerobic digestion phase, making the organic substance much easier to digest, allowing for much shorter retention times and therefore enabling the digesters themselves to receive much more biomass. In essence, the same plant can increase biogas production without the need to build new structures. For example, a 1MW electrical plant, which can normally be converted into 250Sm3/h of biomethane, can be converted to 500Sm3/h and above with ASAC technology. Our technicians can verify and size the optimal conversion based on existing structures.
If you wish to maintain the same capacity, you can use one or more existing digesters to store the digestate, in accordance with the new biomethane decree, without having to carry out additional work.
